Next in my series of summer time smoothies comes this delicious oaty version that is brilliant for a breakfast time treat and ideal for whipping up the night before, leaving in your fridge and then grabbing in the morning if you don't have time to enjoy a proper sit down brekkie. This recipe is a simple strawberry and banana version with a smidge of honey for sweetness but you can experiment with different fruit to suit your own taste and create your very own individual and unique "Breakfast On The Go".

Strawberry And Banana Oat Smoothie

10 Halved Strawberries
2 Chopped Medium Bananas
4 Tbsp Greek Yoghurt
100ml Semi Skimmed Milk
1 Tbsp Honey
75g Oats

Place all the ingredients in a blender, food  processor,whatever you use to whiz up your smoothies in the order as written above and blend until at the desired consistency. If the mix is a bit too thick add in a smidge more milk until you get the thickness you prefer.

And you good to go! The perfect quickidy quick breakfast time drink thats great for getting a bit of goodness into the little ones too.
